We came together as a group had a production meeting and then started to do our slides for a pitch. We started to discuss what we are putting i the pitch and what we are going to talk about. We split what slides we are going to do for homework and we finished it for homework. We used our communication and writing skills.

Pitch Evaluation
Our feedback for the pitch was really good. I will take the feedback back on board and learn for the next pitch. For this pitch, we got told that our strength was that our presenter styles were detailed and that Informative others said that we know our target audience requirements and that we had a clear understanding idea of the topics we are going to talk about. They said that we had a good outline and that we had good topics. They liked our presenter style. They liked the fact that we had a good plan and good content. Some said that we had detailed slides. We can improve on how we look so we don't look bored. We can also improve on speaking in detail and being specific. I think I did improve from the unit more I knew more about what I was saying and I used cue cards to help because in the first pitch I didn't know that I was reading certain slides so I didn't have cue cards from them but for this one we did decide on whos reading what and had cue cards for what wrote on the slides. I think that we didn't make any adjustments to our idea but I did add to my research about advertising. Our final idea is that we are going to play the stations ident at the beginning and then going into entertainment and then we would have the ident for competition and we would start the competition after we would play the station I dent and we will talk about film and TV and talk about our social awareness topic which is mental health from there we said that we are going to go into a debate of knife crime and end off with celebrity gossip. In between the topics, we would have music playing. 15 minutes in the show we will have our first bulletin that will last 30 seconds, the second bulletin will be 45 minutes into the show lasts for 1 minute long. The advert will be played every 15 minutes, last for 30 seconds long. What I need to do is put more detail into the pre-production paperwork and the list that we came up with. What we as a group need to make sure that we have all the details correct and that we know what we are doing
Knife crime
Knife crime is a big issue. It's rising every day. People say that the Government is not dealing with the problem effectively.

The law about carrying a knife
There are lots of different rules about carrying a knife, but for the most part, it is illegal to carry a knife in public without a good reason.
It is also illegal to use any knife in a threatening way.
If you are found to be carrying a knife in the UK, there could be serious punishments.

We talked about our radio runtime and made sure that it was good and in the order we wanted and what we pitched. We carried out what we are going to do. We started our script and started to type it out

Today edited the script and the running order. The script we made all the changes we got from our feedback from the peer feedback that we got. We went through the running order to make sure that it adds up to 1 hour long. The skills that we have used communicating and writing skills

In draft 1 we had to put our parts together but it wasn't in order so we rehearsed and it didn't make any sense. In terms of the content I think we could add more to each of the topics. With our delivery I think in some places on the script we could add more energy and enthusiasm to it. I draft 2 we made the changes to the script tht we need to like putting it in order

In the lesson, we put our script together but it wasn't in order so when it came to the rehearsal it didn't make sense we continue to edit the script and put it in order and make it sound like us rather than it being scripted. We used communicating and writing skills. As homework, we send our script draft to two people
